Smart Moves Coaching Australia ® provides mentoring and guidance for students in all stages through school – from primary (Year 4 onwards) to their HSC. We pride ourselves on not simply focussing on the marks but also on the student and their development, thereby aiding them in realising their potential. Our one-on-one style allows each lesson to be specially tailored for the students’ needs and move at a pace at which the student can benefit maximally.
For our primary students, Smart Moves Coaching’s experienced tutors can help your child develop strong literacy and mathematics skills. With our one-on-one sessions, we encourage your child to garner a positive attitude towards study through fun and interactive activities.
Students in Year 4 have reached the cognitive stage of development and will benefit from coaching. It will hone their potential and provide them with an edge to put them ahead of their classmates, prepare them for the teaching styles of secondary education and the expectations that come with those styles. In particular, it will assist them in being able to meet the stylistic and formal demands of secondary education, such as writing and mathematical equations.
For those leaving primary school, we provide special lessons that cater for the Selective Schools examination and Private School Examinations. These lessons focus on exam-taking techniques, time management skills, how to interpret the question and proficiency with required text types and syllabus content.
Our high school students, too, benefit from our diverse range of tutors who are qualified to teach in all subjects. For our HSC students we offer tutoring for students studying ESL, Standard English, Advanced English, Extension 1 & Extension 2 English, General Mathematics, Mathematics, Extension 1 & Extension 2 Maths, Business Studies, Legal Studies, Economics, Modern History, Ancient History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Languages.
Over the years we have built up a large database of resources for our students’ use, which includes contributions from our tutors and students as their skills have been refined under our tutelage. Our resources include many HSC trial and exam papers, worked solutions, example essays and junior/selective school exam papers. This diversity of resources guarantees each student a tailored approach to aid our students in achieving their best.
